1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CanadaDrivingTests.ca ("the Website"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Website.

2. Services Provided

The Website offers independent study materials and practice tests for Canadian learner-driver knowledge tests. They are not official exams, legal advice, or a substitute for the current handbook and instructions published by the relevant licensing authority. Use of the Website does not guarantee a passing result.

2A. Paid 30-Day Access

The optional purchase shown on the Website is a one-time payment of $3.99 CAD for up to 30 days of ad-free use and access to the tests marked as locked. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically.

Stripe processes the payment. Access is recognized through a browser cookie after the successful checkout return. We also send a restore link to the email supplied at checkout so access can be restored in another browser during the same access period. Private browsing, clearing cookies, delivery problems, an incorrect email address, or not returning to the Website after checkout may affect recognition or delivery; contact support@canadadrivingtests.ca for help.

If you have a billing, duplicate-charge, or access problem, contact us with enough purchase information to investigate. Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights that apply to you.

3. Use of Website

You agree to use the Website for lawful purposes only. You must not use the Website in any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

4. Intellectual Property

The Website’s original practice questions, explanations, design, and software are owned by Simplesteps Education Inc. or used with permission and may be protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, marks, publication titles, linked materials, and other third-party content remain the property of their respective owners. We do not claim ownership of them.

Practice questions and explanations are independently written to assess driving rules and topics that may also be addressed in public driver handbooks. They are not represented as official test questions and are not intended to reproduce the wording of official tests or handbooks.

4A. Government and Licensing-Authority References

Names such as ICBC, MPI, MTO, DriveTest, Government of Alberta, and the titles of driver handbooks are used descriptively to identify the province, licence process, test, or public study source relevant to users. Such references and links do not indicate affiliation, authorization, sponsorship, licensing, or endorsement.

Government and licensing-authority websites, publications, logos, and trademarks are controlled by their respective owners and may be subject to separate terms and licences. A link or citation does not grant permission to reproduce third-party material. Users should consult the current official source directly.

5. Limitation of Liability

The Website provides the practice tests "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. The Website does not warrant that the practice tests will be accurate, complete, or up-to-date.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Website shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• a) Your use or inability to use the Website;
• b) Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein;
• c) Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Website;
• d) Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our Website by any third party;
• e) Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the Website.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CanadaDrivingTests.ca, its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:

• a) Your use of and access to the Website;
• b) Your violation of any term of these Terms and Conditions;
• c) Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right.

7. Modifications to the Website

CanadaDrivingTests.ca reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Website or any part thereof with or without notice. You agree that CanadaDrivingTests.ca shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Website.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

1. No Affiliation

CanadaDrivingTests.ca is operated by Simplesteps Education Inc. and is not affiliated with, authorized by, licensed by, sponsored by, or endorsed by any government, licensing authority, official testing organization, or registry agent. The practice tests are independent educational study aids only.

2. No Guarantees

The Website makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy or completeness of the practice tests or any other content on the Website. The practice tests are meant to serve as a study aid only and do not ensure a passing grade on any official exam.

3. Use at Your Own Risk

Your use of the Website is at your own risk. Rules, fees, procedures, test formats, and eligibility requirements can change. Verify important information with the current official handbook, applicable law, and the relevant licensing authority before acting.

4. Non-Waivable Rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies a statutory warranty, consumer right, or other right that applicable law does not permit us to exclude, restrict, or modify.

9. Cookies and Data Collection

Third-party advertisements and links to other sites where goods or services are advertised are not endorsements or recommendations by CanadaDrivingTests.ca of the third-party sites, goods, or services. CanadaDrivingTests.ca takes no responsibility for the content of the ads, promises made, or the quality/reliability of the products or services offered in all advertisements.

By using our website, you agree that CanadaDrivingTests.ca shall not be liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use of or reliance on any content, goods, or services available through any third-party advertisements or sites linked to from our website.

These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology to the advertisements and links that appear on CanadaDrivingTests.ca and send them directly to your browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies may also measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and personalize the advertising content you see.
